陽の光が長く部屋に差し込むようになったなぁとか、日暮れが長くなったなぁとか、陽の光で季節を感じることがあります。
家にいる時間が長くなって、時間には追われない生活になり、正確な時刻や予定はスマホが通知してくれるようになって、時間の経過を愛おしむ生活をしたいと思いました。
今回デザインした真鍮鋳肌の掛け時計はどれも12分割の影が落ちて時刻の区切りが見えるようになっています。それぞれのデザインに合わせた時計の針もオリジナルでつくりました。

トゥインクルは12角形の多面体の3角形12面一つ一つに光がきらめきます。
季節によって変わる、きらめく光と隣り合う面の影の出方もお楽しみください。

Wall Clock - Twinkle
Sometimes, I feel the changing of the seasons through the sunlight—noticing how its rays stretch deeper into the room, or how the twilight lingers just a little longer.

Spending more time at home has led to a lifestyle where I no longer feel chased by the clock. Since our smartphones now manage our exact schedules and notify us of the time, I found myself wanting to live in a way that truly cherishes the gentle passage of time.

The brass cast wall clocks I designed this time are all crafted so that shadows fall into 12 distinct sections, allowing you to visually perceive the divisions of time. I also created original clock hands tailored to perfectly match each individual design.

The Twinkle model is a 12-sided polyhedron, where light sparkles across each of its 12 triangular faces. I hope you enjoy the beautiful interplay between the sparkling light and the shadows on the adjacent faces, which gently shift and change with the seasons.
